So, I introduced them to some weaving. I had seen a few (here's a good one) stick weaving projects, so we took a stab at it. They both think they are neat, but it's testing their patience. I have a few other weaving projects to work with them on and I think they may be a bit easier. These looked quite simple but for the beginner it takes a bit more time....unless you use bigger sticks and made a wider loom. All in all, it's good practice, and it's never too early to teach patience. I'm hoping when they are finished they will enjoy the feeling of completing it!
No matter what it is, I think it's important to do things we enjoy. Even if it's just finding the time in the day to get dressed and wear something we like or that makes us feel good. I'm not always the best at this daily, but it's something I strive towards. In many ways, this blog helps hold me accountable to remind myself of what I want to do and who I want to be. I would much rather a life spent enjoying even the littlest things, than a life wasted away on the thoughts of things I don't enjoy or didn't do.
