birdie sheets

Sterling has pottery barn birdie sheets that I found second hand (barely used) and I've wanted her to have a matching pillow case. But no luck finding it anywhere on Ebay or anywhere else. (Actually, I'm not even sure if they make pillow cases to match) Anyway, I decided to.....that's right.....make her a pillow case to match, with a cute little birdie to match. When all else fails or there is lack of money....why not try to make it. So, it turned out pretty cute. And the sweetest part about it was when Sterling saw it finished she said "Oh, mommy it's so special. Thank you for making my pillow." So she really likes it and that's all that really matters.
