My newest creations...

So , I don't get much time to sew like the old days. With a three yr. old and four month old the day is gone so fast, but I have managed to get a little in during nap time. However, that time seems pretty short so things have not been made with as much detail or perfection as I would like. But they will do.
Take for instance....Sterling is growing out of her dresses. So, I bought some jersey knit fabrics to make some great baby wraps (which I will post some pictures of another time) and with the left overs I am making dresses for her & maybe a shirt or two for me. So, Saturday I rush to get a dress made for Sunday church. It turned out pretty cute considering it was without a pattern and I had limited time, but as she bounced and danced around at church like she always does it proved itself to be a bit too short. She will have to wear tights or leggings with this one. Better luck next time.

These were all a bit blurry, as there is no time for being still when you are three. We've got places to go and people to see, ya know. But it's still cute.

And a pair of shoes for Elle. These are made out of felt....kind of a trial run for the ones I really want to make out of red corduroy. They are all cut out and waiting to be sewn but they will take a bit more time because they need to be lined and edges need to be sewn. These are pretty cute for a practice pair. And they fit! (the most important part)
