Happy Birthday Sterling!

My little BooBoo has turned 8! If you haven't already noticed I give funny nicknames to the ones I love. Each one in our house has a specific name. I've just always been that way. I even used to do that to my parents and my brother when I was younger. It's like a form of affection I suppose. Well, our radiant little Sterling is getting so big. I tell her often, "I remember when you were just a little baby and I would..." and then I tell her some old memory I have of when she was so little. She usually just laughs and says..."I know. You always tell me that but I'm not a baby anymore". And she's right. She's so not a little baby anymore. But Oh, how I love her so!

 So, this year Sterling's birthday landed on a Sunday. So, after church we came home and celebrated with a few gifts and double chocolate cupcakes! Then per her request, we spent the day at World's of Fun amusement park. They have a water park and roller coasters. What more could an 8 yr old ask for!

This was one of the adult roller coasters....and we did not attempt this one, but we thought it was cool to watch each time the people went down the first drop. She said this was one of her best birthdays yet. We may be coming back here again for another year!
