CHANGE OF SCENERY
I feel like pictures can really tell a story if you let them. For some reason I just really liked the sequence of the girls playing here in these pictures. This was the other evening when we just decided to go somewhere different for a change. It's easy with our family of 6 to get stuck in the routine of staying home all day and doing the same stuff...playing inside, taking walks outside, eating, cleaning, and time to go to bed...which there is nothing wrong with that because everyone is generally content. It's easy to do the same thing and stay around the house because it takes a lot to get everyone out the door and lots of times it's a bit tiring to be honest. But there are those days when we all crave to do something different. So we decided to go to a garden we had never been before, but was not really far from our house. We grabbed some food and took it with us to eat on a blanket. Afterwards we took a walk around and everyone got to get some fresh air and a change of scenery. It's definitely good to keep things interesting. There are so many places we have not been in this city, so I think we will try and make a habit of visiting other parks and such at least weekly. It's easy to get stuck in a routine, but I think it's so good for us to change it up and try to be more spontaneous. Is that even possible with a family of 6?! Inquiring minds would like to know.
Well, this is about as spontaneous as we get right now...and I'll take it.
