A couple of weeks ago (and I'm just now getting around to posting this because I'm still trying to get into the grove of posting things regularly) we spent most of our afternoon on the porch. It was rainy and felt really nice outside. So, I decided to bring their teepee outside and have a picnic on the porch.
It was nice to do something different for a change. And that teepee was their christmas gift last year, which we move all over the place inside and outside of the house. I'd say it's one of the best presents for multiple siblings to share. After eating, I let to two little ones play with sand (similar to this kind...another great christmas present from last year), while me and the older two worked on a craft project. Everyone was content for several hours.
We were working on a little bookmark project that we still need to finish. I will try and share the end result soon. The summer rain and a porch picnic made this day a pretty good one.
