ALL THE GRACE

I've seen this quote a few times ( here & here to see a few). Some days this pretty much sums it up. But in the end there is always strength to be found to make it through the day and perseverance kicks in. I can always try to keep a clean house, well behaved kids, a peaceful demeanor, (and the list could go on) all in my own strength...but my strength fails me. Every. Single. Day. I'm thankful that in my weakness God is truly made strong. He has made me the mother I am today, and making me the mother that I want to be tomorrow. Happy Mother's Day to all the mamas! And all the graces.

9 But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. 10 That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.
