A LITTLE LATE IS BETTER THAN NOTHING

Our sweet and soft hearted Sophie turned 4! It took me awhile but I've finally got around to adding her birthday.

Morning breakfast with the birthday girl!

Then off we went, on a trip to Deanna Rose Farm.

There are a few educational parts about the farm, teaching history and such, so we turned this into a field trip since it was a school day. Here are the girls practicing school in an old school room.

Sophie got her first ride on a pony all by herself (which at the end of the day she told me was her favorite part of her birthday).

She got some handmade and some not-so-handmade gifts.

A chocolate chip cake, per her request, that they enjoyed after a fancy dinner at home.

They all get pretty excited to dress up for a fancy dinner. Any excuse to dress up, right?!

Oh, happy birthday Sophie! It's the photos like these that remind me why I'm journaling these years. I'm so thankful for these little ones and the life that they bring to our home. Although it's crazy a lot of times, how boring our lives would be without them!
