I've made some angels wings for the girls for birthdays or Christmas. Sophie requested a pair for her birthday (she turned 4 in September), so I made these gold ones for her. I got the inspiration from this website. They are so sweet! As I would have loved to purchase some, they are sold out of country and the price (plus shipping) was just a bit much for my wallet. So, I decided to take a stab at making some for the girls. I basically studied the photos on the website and made them my own. Mine are a bit bigger, mostly longer. The girls love them! I found the fabric from the local fabric store around here. With all the materials it may have cost me a little less than $10. They take a bit of time to make, but very much worth it for us to save some money. Especially since I have 4 girls to make them for at some point. Stay tuned as I will be talking more about these soon!
On Tuesdays I just have the two little ones while the other two go to a full day co-op school. Here's Sophie helping me chop some apples while wearing her wings. And don't worry, it was a butter knife.
